HAHAHAHAHA #2 - ZING!
OMG I <3 #2
1: YES.2: god, agreed so much. AND in the superbowl episode "what did jim say to my dad? and at what point in our marriage was he going to say it to me?" what the fuck? alas, i agree with #9 :(
#2 is really hilarious and I totally agree with it! =)Aw, and sorry to whoever made #10. That's sad.
YESYESYES to #1.LOL @ #3.FYES to #6.LOL @#7 and 8.#10 made me sad.
#10 - absolutely.
10. I could not agree more, I hated that episode. Meredith's "You're the reason I drink" stung too.
Number 9 is eternal win x infinity.
2. Heaven forbid a character show any growth. Pam being an insecure doormat forever would've been awesome! Screw self-improvement!
Agreed! I don't get why there's been so much "Pam is a bitch" stuff going around lately. I know the person who posted that secret didn't say that, ftr, I mean in general. I think the thing with the chairs-vs-copier and Pam's annoyance over the microwave were valid issues for her character to deal with. Why is is wrong for her to get mad that someone left a huge mess?
I totally agree with you. I wish people would just accept change.
10. part of me wants to say "OMG it's just a tv!!" but thinking back to that episode, I do remember feeling like it wasn't really that funny, because she is an alcoholic, so it was kinda just sad. I can understand that that is how Michael would deal with a situation like that..but still...
Deliberately anonymous: I'm an alcoholic and I thought #10 and ep was FUNNY. The Office has always been about cringe-inducing humor, and this was definitely some! Because it was TRUE TO LIFE. Alkies know they're this bad.. it's not as important as getting another drink, but we know and we can laugh at ourselves (usually). The families (and Michael).. I do feel bad there. But I, at least, laughed my ass off.
10. My dad's an alcoholic and my mom's a meth addict. I thought that episode was hilarious because it was so true. It was actually quite validating for the Office to acknowledge that family and friends can't just force someone to go into rehab and get better. I've been in the position of Michael trying to plead and convince my mom to go into rehab when she keeps coming up with more and more reasons not to go.
I hope your parents get better...truly. Good for you for staying positive!
w00t to all the Jan love! :D(Now where's the love for Karen? I still miss her!)
I'd love to see Jan back on the show, SANE. Agreed.3. Ummm please share, now. 4. IASFM!! Dwangela <3
10 - I have an alcoholic (recovering)in my family as well and I agree. It's true that he can laugh at himself sometimes, which is fine. However, something about this being a strong theme of a Christmas episode just made me sad.
9. God, yes.
